YAMA was founded in 2009 by Mitsuko YAMANE, born in Kobe, Japan,

post graduated hotel and tourist management from SHMS,

Swiss Hotel Management School in Caux, Montreux Switzerland.

After 10 years' experience in the hotel industry in Kobe (Japan) /

Kobe Portopia Hotel, in Geneva (Switzerland) / restaurant in United Nation

and in London (UK) / Millenium Hotel London Mayfair, she moved to France

in 2005 and worked at restaurant in ski resort.

With her  strong experiences, she has decided to creat YAMA to introduce

real Japanese food to local people.

After 2 years of collaboration with the Irish Pun in Les Gets, YAMA opens

the boutique in Taninges september 2011.
